Welcome to Leuven and welcome to KU Leuven!

To give you a quick intro: VTK stands for Vlaamse Technische Kring, which is the student association for all students at the Faculty of Engineering Science. Within VTK, "International" is a dedicated team created specifically to make every international engineering student feel completely at home in Leuven.

This year, we, Hanna, Dante, Sylvain, and Lore, are Team International! We are super excited to welcome you and can’t wait to meet you all in person!

What we do for you

Whether you need help adjusting to your studies, want to join fun activities, or are looking to explore Belgium and meet both local and international students, VTK International is here for you! We organize a wide variety of events tailored for international students like cantusses, parties, city trips and games. Our goal is to bring you fun events almost every week, while also helping you connect with local Belgian students so you can make lifelong friends. PS: You can easily filter the events by category to find what interests you most. Anything tagged with "International" is hosted in English, but everyone is welcome to join! This goes both ways: feel free to jump into Dutch-hosted events too, like our legendary galabal or sports activities. Even if the main language isn't English, you'll still have a blast!
